حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا تَمْنَعُوا نِسَاءَكُمُ الْمَسَاجِدَ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهَا» قَالَ: فَقَالَ بِلَالُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ: وَاللهِ لَنَمْنَعُهُنَّ، قَالَ: فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ: فَسَبَّهُ سَبًّا سَيِّئًا مَا سَمِعْتُهُ سَبَّهُ مِثْلَهُ قَطُّ وَقَالَ: أُخْبِرُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَقُولُ: وَاللهِ لَنَمْنَعُهُنَّ
یونس نے ابن شہاب ( زہری ) سے روایت کی ، کہا : مجھے سالم بن عبد اللہ نے خبر دی کہ حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہﷺ سے سنا ، آپ فرما رہے تھے : ’’ اپنی عورتوں کو جب وہ تم سے مسجدوں میں جانے کی اجازت طلب کریں تو انہیں ( وہاں جانے سے ) نہ روکو ۔ ‘ ‘ ( سالم نے ) کہا : تو ( ابن عمر کے دوسرے بیٹے ) بلال بن عبد اللہ نے کہا : اللہ کی قسم! ہم تو ان کو ضرور روکیں گے ۔ اس پرحضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کی طرف رخ کیا اور اس کو سخت برا بھلا کہا ، میں نے انہیں کبھی ( کسی کو ) اتنا برا بھلا کہتے نہیں سنا اور کہا : میں تمہیں رسول اللہﷺ کا فرمان بتا رہا ہوں اور تم کہتے ہو : اللہ کی قسم! ہم انہیں ضرور روکیں گے ۔
Abdullah b. Umar reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say: Don't prevent your women from going to the mosque when they seek your permission. Bilal b. 'Abdullah said: By Allah, we shall certainly prevent them. On this'Abdullah b. Umar turned towards him and reprimanded him to harshly as I had never heard him do before. He ('Abdullah b. Umar) said: I am narrating to you that which comes from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and you (have the audicity) to say: By Allah, we shall certainly prevent them.

Anas reported: Bilal was commanded (by the Messenger of Allah) to repeat (the phrases of) Adhan twice and once in Iqama. The narrator said: I made a mention of it before Ayyub who said: Except for saying: Qamat-is-Salat [the time for prayer has come].

Abu Mahdhura said that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) taught him Adhan like this: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and it should be again repeated: I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Come to the prayer (twice). Come to success (twice). Ishaq added: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there Is no god but Allah.
