حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَقَالَ: «يَا فُلَانُ، أَلَا تُحْسِنُ صَلَاتَكَ؟ أَلَا يَنْظُرُ الْمُصَلِّي إِذَا صَلَّى كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي؟ فَإِنَّمَا يُصَلِّي لِنَفْسِهِ، إِنِّي وَاللهِ لَأُبْصِرُ مِنْ وَرَائِي كَمَا أُبْصِرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ

  سعید کے والد ابو سعید مقبری نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، کہا : ایک دن رسول اللہﷺ نے ( ہمیں ) نماز پڑھائی ، پھر سلام پھیرا اور فرمایا : ’’اے فلاں! تم اپنی نماز اچھی طرح نہیں پڑھ سکتے؟ کیا نمازی نماز پڑھتے وقت یہ نہیں دیکھتا ( غور کرتا ) کہ وہ نماز کیسے پڑھتا ہے؟ وہ اپنے ہی لیے نماز پڑھتا ہے ( کسی دوسرے کےلیے نہیں ۔ ) اللہ کی قسم! میں اپنے پیچھے بھی اسی طرح دیکھتا ہون جس طرح سامنے دیکھتا ہوں

Abu Huraira reported: one day the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) led the prayer. Then turning (towards his Companions) he said: 0 you, the man, why don't you say your prayer well? Does the observer of prayer not see how he is performing the prayer for he performs it for himself? By Allah, I see behind me as I see In front of me.

Hadith 838

Anas reported: Bilal was commanded (by the Messenger of Allah) to repeat (the phrases of) Adhan twice and once in Iqama. The narrator said: I made a mention of it before Ayyub who said: Except for saying: Qamat-is-Salat [the time for prayer has come].

Abu Mahdhura said that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) taught him Adhan like this: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and it should be again repeated: I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad Is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Come to the prayer (twice). Come to success (twice). Ishaq added: Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; there Is no god but Allah.
