حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ، كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ»
عبد الرحمن بن حمید نے کہا : مجھے ابو زبیر نے طاؤس کے حوالے سے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہﷺ ہمیں تشہد یوں سکھاتے تھے جیسے آپ ہمیں قرآن کی سورت سکھاتے تھے ۔
Tawus narrated it on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that he said: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to teach us tashahhud as he would teach us a Sura of the Qur'an.
