وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ: حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا فُرُوعَ أُذُنَيْهِ
قتادہ سے ( ابو عوانہ کے بجائے ) سعید نے باقی ماندہ سے اسی سند کے ساتھ روایت کی کہ انہوں نے ( مالک بن حویرث رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے اللہ کے نبیﷺ کو دیکھا اور ( سعید نے ) کہا : یہاں تک کہ دونوں ہاتھ اپنے دونوں کانوں کے کناروں کے سامنے لے جاتے ۔
This hadith has been transmitted by Qatada with the same chain of transmitters that he saw the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) doing this (i.e. raising his hands) till they were opposite the lobes of ears.
