حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ صَخْرٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أُقِيمَتْ صَلَاةُ الْعِشَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: لِي حَاجَةٌ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنَاجِيهِ حَتَّى نَامَ الْقَوْمُ - أَوْ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ - ثُمَّ صَلَّوْا
ثابت نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا : عشاء کی نماز کے لیے اقامت کہہ دی گئی تو ایک آدمی نے ( رسول اللہ سے ) کہا : میرا ایک کام ہے ، چنانچہ آپﷺ کھڑے ہو کر اس سے سرگوشی کرنے لگے حتیٰ کہ لوگ یا کچھ لوگ ( بیٹھے بیٹھے ) سو گئے ، پھر سب نے نماز پڑھی ۔
Anas reported: (The people) stood up for the night prayer when a man spoke forth: I need to say something. The Apostle of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) entered into secret conversation with him, till the people dozed off or some of the people (dozed off), and then they said the prayer.

A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us was menstruating the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked her to tie waist-wrapper daring the time when the menstrual blood profusely flowed and then embraced her; and she ('A'isha) observed: And who amongst you can have control over his desires as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had over his desires.
