وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ذَرًّا، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، قَالَ: قَالَ الْحَكَمُ: وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَجْنَبْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَاءً. وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَزَادَ فِيهِ، قَالَ عَمَّارٌ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنْ شِئْتَ لِمَا جَعَلَ اللهُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ حَقِّكَ لَا أُحَدِّثُ بِهِ أَحَدًا، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ
نضر بن شمیل نے شعبہ سے باقی ماندہ سابقہ سند کے ساتھ روایت کی کہ ایک آدمی حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور پوچھا : میں جنبی ہو گیا ہوں اور مجھے پانی نہیں ملا ۔ اس کے بعد ( مذکورہ بالا ) حدیث بیان کی اور اس میں یہ اضافہ کیا کہ عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : اے امیر المؤمنین! اگر آپ چاہیں تو آپ کے اس حق کی بنا پر جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھ پر رکھا ہے ، میں یہ حدیث کسی کو نہ سناؤں گا ۔ اور ( شعبہ نے یہاں ) مجھے سلمہ نے ذر حدیث بیان کی ( کے الفاظ ) کا ذکر نہیں کیا ۔
Abd al-Rahman b. Abza mnated it on the authority of his father that a man came to Umar and said: I have had a seminal emission but I found no water, and the rest of the hadith is the same but with this addition: 'Amr said: 0 Commander of the Faithful, because of the right given to you by Allah over me, if you desire, I would not narrate this hadith to anyone.

A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us was menstruating the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked her to tie waist-wrapper daring the time when the menstrual blood profusely flowed and then embraced her; and she ('A'isha) observed: And who amongst you can have control over his desires as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had over his desires.
