حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ بْنُ الشِّخِّيرِ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْسَخُ حَدِيثُهُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا، كَمَا يَنْسَخُ الْقُرْآنُ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا»
ابو علاء بن شخیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ایک حدیث دوسری کو منسوخ کر دیتی ہے ، جیسے قرآن کی ایک آیت دوسری آیت کو منسوخ کر دیتی ہے ۔ ( یعنی اس مفہوم کی احادیث ، آپ ہی کے اس فرمان کے ذریعے سے منسوخ ہو چکی ہیں جو بعد میں آئے گا ۔ )
Abu al. 'Ala' b. al-Shikhkhir said: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) abrogated some of his commands by others, just as the Qur'an abrogates some part with the other.

A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us was menstruating the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked her to tie waist-wrapper daring the time when the menstrual blood profusely flowed and then embraced her; and she ('A'isha) observed: And who amongst you can have control over his desires as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had over his desires.
