حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ يَعْنِي الْحِزَامِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَعَدَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ حَدَّثَنِي تَمِيمٌ الدَّارِيُّ أَنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ كَانُوا فِي الْبَحْرِ فِي سَفِينَةٍ لَهُمْ فَانْكَسَرَتْ بِهِمْ فَرَكِبَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى لَوْحٍ مِنْ أَلْوَاحِ السَّفِينَةِ فَخَرَجُوا إِلَى جَزِيرَةٍ فِي الْبَحْرِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ
ابو زناد نے شعبی سے اور انھوں نےحضرت فاطمہ بنت قیس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر رونق افروز ہوئے اور فرمایا : " لوگو! مجھے تمیم داری نے یہ بتایا ہے کہ ان کی قوم کے کچھ لوگ اپنے ایک جہاز میں سمندر میں تھے ، وہ جہاز ٹوٹ گیا اوران میں سے کچھ لوگ جہاز کے تختوں میں سے ایک تختے پر سوار ہوگئے اور سمندر میں ایک جزیرے کی طرف جانکلے ۔ " اور پھر ( آگے باقی ماندہ ) حدیث بیان کی ۔
Fatima b. Qais reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) sat on the pulpit and said: O people, Tamim Dari has reported to me that some persons of his tribe sailed in the ocean in a boat and it capsised and then some of them travelled on one of the planks of the boat and they went to an island in the ocean. And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.

Zainab bint Jahsh, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported that one day Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came out in a state of excitement with his face quite red. And he was saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of the turmoil which is near at hand as the barrier of Gog and Magog has been opened like it, and he (in order to explain it) made a ring with the help of his thumb and forefinger. I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be destroyed despite the fact that there would be pious people amongst us? He said: Yes, when evil would be predominant.
