حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَفِظْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا لَمْ أَنْسَهُ بَعْدُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ الْآيَاتِ خُرُوجًا طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَخُرُوجُ الدَّابَّةِ عَلَى النَّاسِ ضُحًى وَأَيُّهُمَا مَا كَانَتْ قَبْلَ صَاحِبَتِهَا فَالْأُخْرَى عَلَى إِثْرِهَا قَرِيبٌ
محمد بن بشیر نے ابو حیان سے ، انھوں نے ابو زرعہ سے اور انھوں نے حضر ت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایک ایسی حدیث سنی ہے جس کو سننے کے بعد میں اسے بھولا نہیں ۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کوفرماتے ہوئے سنا : " نمودار ہونے والی سب سے پہلے نشانی مغرب سے سورج کا طلوع ہونا اور دن چڑھے لوگوں کے سامنے زمین کے چوپائے کانکلنا ہے ۔ ان میں سے جو بھی نشانی دوسری سے پہلے ظاہر ہوگی ، دوسری اس کے بعد جلد نمودار ہوجائے گی ۔ "
`Abdullah b. `Amr reported: I committed to memory a hadith from Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and I did not forget it after I had heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The first sign (out of the signs of the appearance of the Dajjal) would be the appearance of the sun from the west, the appearance of the beast before the people in the forenoon and which of the two happens first, the second one would follow immediately after that.

And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.

Zainab bint Jahsh, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported that one day Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came out in a state of excitement with his face quite red. And he was saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of the turmoil which is near at hand as the barrier of Gog and Magog has been opened like it, and he (in order to explain it) made a ring with the help of his thumb and forefinger. I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be destroyed despite the fact that there would be pious people amongst us? He said: Yes, when evil would be predominant.
