حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ وَأَبُو مَعْنٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي مَعْنٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ وَاقِفًا مَعَ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ فَقَالَ لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ مُخْتَلِفَةً أَعْنَاقُهُمْ فِي طَلَبِ الدُّنْيَا قُلْتُ أَجَلْ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يُوشِكُ الْفُرَاتُ أَنْ يَحْسِرَ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَإِذَا سَمِعَ بِهِ النَّاسُ سَارُوا إِلَيْهِ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ لَئِنْ تَرَكْنَا النَّاسَ يَأْخُذُونَ مِنْهُ لَيُذْهَبَنَّ بِهِ كُلِّهِ قَالَ فَيَقْتَتِلُونَ عَلَيْهِ فَيُقْتَلُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ قَالَ أَبُو كَامِلٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ وَقَفْتُ أَنَا وَأُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ فِي ظِلِّ أُجُمِ حَسَّانَ
ابو کامل فضیل بن حسین اور ابو معن رقاشی نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ۔ الفاظ ابومعن کے ہیں ۔ دونوں نے کہا : ہمیں خالد بن حارث نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں عبد الحمید بن جعفر نے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : مجھے میرے والد نے سلیمان بن یسار سے خبردی ، انھوں نے عبد اللہ بن حارث بن نوفل سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے ساتھ کھڑا تھا تو انھوں نےکہا : دنیا کی طلب میں لوگوں کی گردنیں مسلسل ایک دوسرے سے مختلف ( اور باہمی جھگڑے اور عداوتیں جاری ) رہیں گی ۔ میں نے کہا : ہاں ( بالکل ایسے ہی ہو گا ) انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا : "" ( وہ و قت ) قریب ہے کہ دریائےفرات سونے کے ایک پہاڑ کو ظاہر کرے گا ۔ جب لوگ اس کے بارے میں سنیں گے تو اس کی طرف چل نکلیں گے ۔ جو لوگ اس ( پہاڑ ) کے قریب ہوں گےوہ کہیں گے ۔ اگر ہم نے ( دوسرے ) لوگوں کو اس میں سے ( سونا ) لےجانے کی اجازت دے دی تو وہ سب کا سب لے جائیں گے کہا : وہ اس پر جنگ آزماہوں کے تو ہر سو میں سے ننانوے قتل ہو جائیں گے ۔ ابو کامل نے اپنی حدیث میں ( اس طرح ) کہا : انھوں نے کہا : میں اور حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ قلعہ حسان کے سائے میں ٹھہرے ہوئے تھے ۔
`Abdullah b. Harith b. Naufal reported: I was standing along with Ubayy b. Ka`b and he said: The opinions of the people differ in regard to the achievement of worldly ends. I said: Yes, of course. Thereupon he said: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: The Euphrates would soon uncover a mountain of gold and when the people would bear of it they would flock towards it but the people who would possess that (treasure) (would say): If we allow these persons to take out of it they would take away the whole of it. So they would fight and ninety-nine out of one hundred would be killed. Abu Kamil in his narration said: I and Ubayy b. Ka`b stood under the shade of the battlement of Hassan.

And Sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said: Of course, but only when the evil predominates.

Zainab bint Jahsh, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported that one day Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came out in a state of excitement with his face quite red. And he was saying: There is no god but Allah; there is a destruction in store for Arabia because of the turmoil which is near at hand as the barrier of Gog and Magog has been opened like it, and he (in order to explain it) made a ring with the help of his thumb and forefinger. I said: Allah's Messenger, would we be destroyed despite the fact that there would be pious people amongst us? He said: Yes, when evil would be predominant.
