حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ يَقُومُ أَحَدُهُمْ فِي رَشْحِهِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ أُذُنَيْهِ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ يَوْمَ
زہیر بن حرب محمد بن مثنیٰ اور عبید اللہ بن سعید نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : ہمیں یحییٰ بن سعید نے عبید اللہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : مجھے نافع نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( اس آیت کی تفسیر ) روایت کی : " اس دن لوگ رب العالمین کے سامنے کھڑے ہوں گے " آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " یہاں تک کہ ان میں سے کوئی اس طرح کھڑا ہو گا کہ اس کا پسینہ اس کے کانوں کے درمیان تک ہو گا ۔ " اور ابن مثنیٰ کی روایت میں ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( " ان میں سے کوئی " کے بجائے ) فرمایا : " لوگ کھڑے ہوں گے ۔ انھوں نے ( ابن مثنیٰ ) نے ( آیت میں ) يوم ( اس دن ) کا ذکرنہیں کیا ۔
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: When the people stand before Allah, the Lord of the worlds, each one of them would stand submerged into perspiration up to half of his ears, and there is no mention of the day in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Muthanni.
