حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ اخْتَصَمَ الرِّجَالُ وَالنِّسَاءُ أَيُّهُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَكْثَرُ فَسَأَلُوا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ
سفیان نے ایوب سے اور انھوں نے ( محمد ) ابن سیرین سے روایت کی ، کہا : مردوں اور عورتوں میں بحث ہوگئی کہ ان میں سے جنت میں زیادہ کون ہوگا؟پھر انھوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اس کے متعلق سوال کیا تو انھوں نے کہا : ابو القاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، ( آگے ) ابن علیہ کی حدیث کے مانند ۔
