وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: جَاءَتْ أَمُّ سُلَيْمٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ اللهِ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ، فَهَلْ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ مِنْ غُسْلٍ إِذَا احْتَلَمَتْ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَعَمْ، إِذَا رَأَتِ الْمَاءَ» فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَتَحْتَلِمُ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ فَقَالَ: «تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكِ، فَبِمَ يُشْبِهُهَا وَلَدُهَا
ابو معاویہ نے ہشام بن عروہ سے ، انہوں نے اپنےوالد سے ، انہوں نے زینب بنت ابی سلمہ سے اور انہوں نے ( اپنی والدہ ) حضرت ام سلمہ ؓسے روایت کی کہ ام سلیم ؓ نبی اکرم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول ! اللہ تعالیٰ حق سے حیا محسوس نہیں کرتا تو کیا عورت کو احتلام ہو جائے تو اس پر غسل ہے ؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ ہاں ، جب ( منی کا ) پانی دیکھے ۔ ‘ ‘ ام سلمہؓ نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول! عورت کو بھی احتلام ہوتا ہے ؟آپ نے فرمایا : ’’تیرے دونوں ہاتھ خاک آلود ہوں ، اس کا بچہ اس کے مشابہ کیسے ہو جاتا ہے ! ‘ ‘ ( یعنی نطفے کی تشکیل میں دونوں کے مادے کا حصہ ہوتا ۔ )
Umm Salama reported: Umm Sulaim went to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and said: Apostle of Allah, Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Is bathing necessary for a woman when she has a sexual dream? Upon this the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Yes, when she sees the liquid (vaginal secretion). Umm Salama said: Messenger of Allah, does a woman have sexual dream? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Let your hand be covered with dust, in what way does her child resemble her?

A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us was menstruating the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked her to tie waist-wrapper daring the time when the menstrual blood profusely flowed and then embraced her; and she ('A'isha) observed: And who amongst you can have control over his desires as the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had over his desires.
