The Book Pertaining to the Remembrance of Allah , Supplication , Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness

  حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جو شخص دن میں سو مرتبہ : " لا اله الا لله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله لحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير " اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ، وہ اکیلا ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، ساری بادشاہت اسی کی ہے ، حمد صرف اسی کو سزاوار ہے اور وہی ہر چیز پر قادر ہے " کہے اس شخص کو دس غلام آزاد کرنے کے برابر اجر ملتا ہے ، اس کے لیے سو نیکیاں لکھی جاتی ہیں ، اس کے سو گناہ مٹا دیے جاتے ہیں اور یہ کلمات شام تک پورا دن شیطان سے اس کی حفاظت کا ذریعہ بن جاتے ہیں اور کوئی شخص اس سے زیادہ افضل عمل نہیں کر سکتا ، سوائے اس شخص کے جو اس سے بھی زیادہ مرتبہ یہی عمل کرے اور جس شخص نے ایک دن میں سو مرتبہ " سبحان الله وبحمده " کہا تو اس کے تمام گناہ معاف کر دیے جاتے ہیں ، چاہے وہ سمندر کے جھاگ کے برابر ہوں ۔ "

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: He who uttered these words: There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything one hundred times every day there is a reward of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred virtues to his credit, and hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard for him against the Satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters: Hallowed be Allah, and all praise is due to Him, one hundred times a day, his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.
