حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَازِعِ الرَّاسِبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي لَعَسَى أَنْ تَمْضِيَ وَأَبْقَى بَعْدَكَ فَزَوِّدْنِي شَيْئًا يَنْفَعُنِي اللَّهُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْعَلْ كَذَا افْعَلْ كَذَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ نَسِيَهُ وَأَمِرَّ الْأَذَى عَنْ الطَّرِيقِ

  ابوبکر بن شعیب بن حبحاب نے ابووازع راسبی سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابوبرزہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کی : اللہ کے رسول! میں نہیں جانتا ، ہو سکتا ہے کہ آپ ( دنیا سے ) تشریف لے جائیں اور میں آپ کے بعد زندہ رہ جاؤں ، اس لیے آپ مجھے ( آخرت کے سفر کے لیے ) کوئی زاد راہ عطا کر دیجئے جس سے اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے نفع عطا فرمائے ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اس طرح کرو ، اس طرح کرو ۔ ۔ ابوبکر بن شعیب ان باتوں کو بھول گئے ۔ ۔ اور ( فرمایا : ) راستے سے تکلیف دہ چیزوں کو دُور کر دیا کرو ۔ "

Abu Barza reported that he said to Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ): Allah's Messenger, I do not know whether I would survive after you, so confer upon me something by which Allah should benefit me. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: Do this and that and remove the troublesome things from the paths.

Hadith 6500

Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah, 's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and said: Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand? He said: Your mother. He again said: Then who (is the next one)? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Qutalba, there is no mention of the word the people .

Abu Huraira reported that a person said: Allah's Messenger, who amongst the people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother, again your mother, again your mother, then your father, then your nearest relatives according to the order (of nearness).

Hadith 6504

Abdullah b. 'Amr reported that a person came to Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and sought permission (to participate) in Jihad, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Are your parents living? He said: Yes. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: You should put in your best efforts (in their) service.
