حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْمِقْدَامِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الرِّفْقَ لَا يَكُونُ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا يُنْزَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا شَانَهُ
معاذ عنبری نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے مقدام بن شریح بن بانی سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے ، انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اہلیہ حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے ، انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا : " نرمی جس چیز میں بھی ہوتی ہے اس کو زینت بخش دیتی ہے اور جس چیز سے بھی نرمی نکال دی جاتی ہے اسے بدصورت کر دیتی ہے ۔ "
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Kindness is not to be found in anything but that it adds to its beauty and it is not withdrawn from anything but it makes it defective.

Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah, 's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and said: Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand? He said: Your mother. He again said: Then who (is the next one)? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Qutalba, there is no mention of the word the people .
