وحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالشَّكِّ مِنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِذْ قَالَ: {رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى، قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لِيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي} [البقرة: 260]، وَيَرْحَمُ اللهُ لُوطًا، لَقَدْ كَانَ يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ، وَلَوْ لَبِثْتُ فِي السِّجْنِ طُولَ لَبْثِ يُوسُفَ لَأَجَبْتُ الدَّاعِيَ
یو نس نے ابن شہاب سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن اور سعید بن مسیب سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " ہم حضرت ابرا ہیم علیہ السلام کی نسبت شک کرنے کے زیادہ حق دار تھےجب انھوں نے کہا تھا : اے میرے رب! مجھے دکھا تو کس طرح مردوں کو زندہ کرتا ہے ۔ اللہ نے ان سے پو چھا : کیا آپ کو یقین نہیں ؟تو انھوں نے کہا : کیوں نہیں ! مگر صرف اس لیے ( دیکھنا چاہتا ہوں ) کہ میرے دل کو مزید اطمینان ہو جا ئے ۔ اور اللہ تعا لیٰ حضرت لوط علیہ السلام پر رحم کرے !وہ ایک مضبوط سہارے کی پناہ لیتے تھے ۔ اور اگر میں قید خانے میں اتنا لمبا عرصہ رہتا جتنا عرصہ حضرت یو سف علیہ السلام رہے تو میں بلا نے والے کی بات مان لیتا ( بلاوا ملتے ہی جیل سے باہر آجا تا ۔ )
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: We have more claim to doubt than Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he said, My Lord, show me how thou wilt quicken the dead. He said: Believeth thou not? He said: Yes, but that my heart rest at ease (the Holy Qur'an. 260). May Lord have mercy on Lot that he wanted a strong support and had I stayed in the prison as long as Yusuf stayed I would have responded to him who invited me.

Wathila b. al-Asqa' reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Verily Allah granted eminence to Kinana from amongst the descendants of Isma'il, and he granted eminence to the Quraish amongst Kinana, and he granted eminence to Banu Hashim amonsgst the Quraish, and he granted me eminence from the tribe of Banu Hashim.

Anas reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) called for water and he was given a vessel and the people began to perform ablution in that and I counted (the persons) and they were between fifty and eighty and I saw water which was spouting from his fingers.

Anas b. Malik reported: I saw Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) during the time of the afternoon prayer and the people asking for water for performing ablution which they did not find. (A small quantity) of water was brought to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and he placed his hand in that vessel and commanded people to perform ablution. I saw water spouting from his fingers and the people performing ablution until the last amongst them performed it.
