حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَدِمَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالُوا: أَتُقَبِّلُونَ صِبْيَانَكُمْ؟ فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ، فَقَالُوا: لَكِنَّا وَاللهِ مَا نُقَبِّلُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَأَمْلِكُ إِنْ كَانَ اللهُ نَزَعَ مِنْكُمُ الرَّحْمَةَ» وقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ: «مِنْ قَلْبِكَ الرَّحْمَةَ»
ابو اسامہ اور ابن نمیر نے ہشام ( بن عروہ ) سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پا س بادیہ سے کچھ لوگ آئےاور انھوں نےپوچھا : کیا آپ لوگ اپنے بچوں کو کچھ بوسہ دیتے ہیں؟لوگوں نے کہا : ہاں ، تو ان لوگوں نے کہا : لیکن واللہ! ہم تو اپنے بچوں کو بوسہ نہیں دیتے ، اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" اگر اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمھارے اندر سے رحمت نکال دی ہے ( تو کیا ہوسکتا ہے! ) "" ابن نمیر کی روایت میں ہے : "" تمھارے دل سے رحمت نکال دی ہے ۔ ""
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that there came a few desert Arabs to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and said: Do you kiss your children? He said: Yes. Thereupon they said: By Allah but we do not kiss our children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Then what can I do if Allah has deprived you of mercy? Ibn Numair said: (We has deprived) your heart of mercy

Wathila b. al-Asqa' reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Verily Allah granted eminence to Kinana from amongst the descendants of Isma'il, and he granted eminence to the Quraish amongst Kinana, and he granted eminence to Banu Hashim amonsgst the Quraish, and he granted me eminence from the tribe of Banu Hashim.

Anas reported that Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) called for water and he was given a vessel and the people began to perform ablution in that and I counted (the persons) and they were between fifty and eighty and I saw water which was spouting from his fingers.

Anas b. Malik reported: I saw Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) during the time of the afternoon prayer and the people asking for water for performing ablution which they did not find. (A small quantity) of water was brought to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and he placed his hand in that vessel and commanded people to perform ablution. I saw water spouting from his fingers and the people performing ablution until the last amongst them performed it.
