حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِسْحَقُ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنَّا إِنْسَانٌ مَسَحَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا فَلَمَّا مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَثَقُلَ أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ لِأَصْنَعَ بِهِ نَحْوَ مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَاجْعَلْنِي مَعَ الرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَتْ فَذَهَبْتُ أَنْظُرُ فَإِذَا هُوَ قَدْ قَضَى

  جریر نے اعمش سے ، انھوں نے ابوضحیٰ سے ، انھوں نے مسروق سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، کہا : جب ہم میں سے کوئی شخص بیمار ہوتا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس ( کےمتاثرہ حصے ) پر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ پھیرتے ، پھر فرماتے : "" تکلیف کو دور کردے ، اے تمام انسانوں کے پالنے والے!شفا دے ، تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے ، تیری شفا کے سوا کوئی شفا نہیں ، ایسی شفا جو بیماری کو ( ذرہ برابر باقی ) نہیں چھوڑتی ۔ "" پھر جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بیمار ہوئے اورآپ کے لیے اعضاء کو حرکت دینا مشکل ہوگیا تو میں نے آپ کا دست مبارک تھاماتاکہ جس طرح خود آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیاکرتے تھے ، میں بھی اسی طرح کروں تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے ہاتھ سے چھڑا لیا ، پھر فرمایا : "" اے میرے اللہ!مجھے بخش دے اور مجھے رفیق اعلیٰ کی معیت عطا کردے ۔ "" انھوں نے کہا : پھر میں دیکھنے لگی تو آپ رحلت فرماچکے تھے ۔

A'isha reported: When any person amongst us fell ill, Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) used to rub him with his right band and then say: O Lord of the people, grant him health, heal him, for Thou art a Greet Healer. There is no healere, but with Thy healing Power one is healed and illness is removed. She further added: When Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) fell ill, and his illness took a serious turn I took hold of hie hand to that I should do with it what he ward to do with that (i. e. I would rub his body with his sacred hand). But he withdrew his hand from my hand and then said: O Allah, pardon me and make me join the companion. ship on She said. I was gazing at him constantly whereas he had passed away.

Hadith 5647

Abu Talha reported: While we were sitting in front of the houses and talking amongst ourselves, Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) happened to come there. He stood by us and said: What about you and your meetings on the paths? Avoid these meetings on the paths. We said: We were sitting here without (any intention of doing harm to the passers-by) ; we are sitting to discuss matters and to hold conversation amongst ourselves. Thereupon he said: If there is no help (for you but to sit on these paths), then give the paths their rights and these are lowering of the gaze, exchanging of greetings and good conversation.

Hadith 5648

Abu Sa'id Khudri reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Avoid sitting on the paths. They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, we cannot help but holding our meetings (in these paths) and discuss matters (there). Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: If you insist on holding meetings, then give the path its due right. They said: What are its due rights? Upon this he said: Lowering the gaze, refraining from doing harm, exchanging of greetings. commanding of good and forbidding from evil.

Hadith 5650

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Five are the rights of a Muslim over his brother: responding to salutation, saying Yarhamuk Allah when anybody sneezes and says al-Hamdulillah, visiting the sick. following the bier. ' Abd al-Razzaq said that this hadith has been transmitted as mursal hadith from Zuhri and he then substantiated it on the authority of Ibn Musayyib.
