حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ أَيْضًا وَاللَّفْظُ هَذَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ مُخَنَّثًا كَانَ عِنْدَهَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ لِأَخِي أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ إِنْ فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ الطَّائِفَ غَدًا فَإِنِّي أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى بِنْتِ غَيْلَانَ فَإِنَّهَا تُقْبِلُ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَتُدْبِرُ بِثَمَانٍ قَالَ فَسَمِعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَا يَدْخُلْ هَؤُلَاءِ عَلَيْكُمْ

  زینب بنت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے ام المومنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی کہ ایک مخنث ان کے ہاں مو جو دتھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی گھر پر تھے وہ حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے بھا ئی سے کہنے لگا : عبد اللہ بن ابی امیہ! اگر کل ( کلاں کو ) اللہ تعا لیٰ تم لو گوں کو طا ئف پر فتح عطا فر ما ئے تو میں تمھیں غیلا ن کی بیٹی ( بادیہ بنت غیلا ن ) کا پتہ بتا ؤں گا وہ چار سلوٹوں کے ساتھ سامنے آتی ہے ( سامنے سے جسم پر چار سلوٹیں پڑتی ہیں ) اور آٹھ سلوٹوں کے ساتھ پیٹھ پھیر کر جا تی ہے ۔ ۔ ( انتہائی فربہ جسم کی ہے ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کی یہ بات سن لی تو آپ نے فر ما یا : " یہ ( مخنث ) تمھا رے ہاں داخل نہ ہو ا کریں ۔

Umm Salama reported that she had a eunuch (as a slave) in her house. Allah's Messenger imay peace be upon him) was once in the house that he (the eunuch) said to the brother of Umm Salama: Abdullahb. Aba Umayya. if Allah grants you victory in Ta'if on the next day, I will show you the daughter of Ghailan for she has four folds (upon her body) on the front side of her stomach and eight folds on the back. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) heard this and he said: Such (people) should not visit you.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: The rider should first greet the pedestrian, and the pedestrian the one who is seated and a small group should greet a larger group (with as-Salam-u-'Alaikum).

Hadith 5647

Abu Talha reported: While we were sitting in front of the houses and talking amongst ourselves, Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) happened to come there. He stood by us and said: What about you and your meetings on the paths? Avoid these meetings on the paths. We said: We were sitting here without (any intention of doing harm to the passers-by) ; we are sitting to discuss matters and to hold conversation amongst ourselves. Thereupon he said: If there is no help (for you but to sit on these paths), then give the paths their rights and these are lowering of the gaze, exchanging of greetings and good conversation.

Hadith 5648

Abu Sa'id Khudri reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Avoid sitting on the paths. They (the Companions) said: Allah's Messenger, we cannot help but holding our meetings (in these paths) and discuss matters (there). Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: If you insist on holding meetings, then give the path its due right. They said: What are its due rights? Upon this he said: Lowering the gaze, refraining from doing harm, exchanging of greetings. commanding of good and forbidding from evil.

Hadith 5650

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Five are the rights of a Muslim over his brother: responding to salutation, saying Yarhamuk Allah when anybody sneezes and says al-Hamdulillah, visiting the sick. following the bier. ' Abd al-Razzaq said that this hadith has been transmitted as mursal hadith from Zuhri and he then substantiated it on the authority of Ibn Musayyib.
