و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي بُرْدَيْنِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ
معمر نے ہمام بن منبہ سے خبر دی کہا : یہ اھادیث ہیں جو حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں سنا ئیں ، پھر انھوں نے کچھ اھادیث سنائیں ، ان میں سے ( ایک ) یہ تھی اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " ایک شخص دوچادروں میں اتراتا ہوا جا رہا تھا " پھر اسی کے مانند بیان کیا ۔

Mu'awiya b. Suwaid b. Muqarrin reporxed: I visited al-Bara' b. 'Azib and heard him say: Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) commanded us to do seven things and forbade us to do seven (things).
