حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَزَالُ الْإِسْلَامُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً»، ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا، فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي: مَا قَالَ؟ فَقَالَ: «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ
حماد بن سلمہ نے سماک سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " بارہ خلیفوں ( کے عہد ) تک اسلام غالب رہے گا ۔ " پھر آپ نے ایک کلمہ فرمایا جس کو میں نہیں سمجھ سکا ، میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کیا فرمایا؟ انہوں نے کہا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " وہ سب قریش میں سے ہوں گے
It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said something which I could not understand. I asked my father: What did he say? He said: He has said that all of them (twelve Caliphs) will be from the Quraish.
