وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ، قَالَ عَبْدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ ثَلَاثَةُ مَسَاكِنَ، فَأَوْصَى بِثُلُثِ كُلِّ مَسْكَنٍ مِنْهَا، قَالَ: يُجْمَعُ ذَلِكَ كُلُّهُ فِي مَسْكَنٍ وَاحِدٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُنَا فَهُوَ رَدٌّ
عبداللہ بن جعفر زہری نے ہمیں سعد بن ابراہیم سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے قاسم بن محمد سے ایسے آدمی کے بارے میں پوچھا جس کے تین گھر ہیں اور اس نے ان میں سے ہر گھر کے ایک تہائی حصے کی وصیت کی ہے ۔ انہوں نے جواب دیا ۔ اس کے تہائی کو ایک گھر کی صورت میں جمع کر دیا جائے گا ۔ پھر انہوں نے کہا : مجھے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جس نے ایسا عمل کیا ، ہمارا دین جس کے مطابق نہیں تو وہ مردود ہے
Sa'd b. Ibrahim reported: I asked Qasim b. Muhammad about a person who had three dwelling houses and he willed away the third part of every one of these houses; he (Qasim b. Muhammad) said: All of them could be combined in one house; and then said: 'A'isha informed me that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: He who did any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected.

Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) heard the clamour of contenders at the door of his apartment. He went to them, and said: I am a human being and the claimants bring to me (the dispute) and perhaps some of them are more eloquent than the others. I judge him to be on the right, and thus decide in his favcur. So he whom I, by my judgment, (give the undue share) out of the right of a Muslim,. I give him a portion of Fire; he may burden himself with it or abandon it.
