حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَ مَعْنَاهُ، وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْعَشِيِّ، فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَمَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ إِذَا غَزَوْنَا يَتَخَلَّفُ أَحَدُهُمْ عَنَّا لَهُ نَبِيبٌ كَنَبِيبِ التَّيْسِ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ:فِي عِيَالِنَا

  یزید بن زریع نے کہا : ہمیں داود نے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی کے ہم معنی حدیث بیان کی اور انہوں نے حدیث میں کہا : شام کو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے ، اللہ کی حمد اور ثنا بیان کی ، پھر فرمایا : " اما بعد! لوگوں کا کیا حال ہے؟ جب ہم جہاد کے لیے جاتے ہیں تو ان میں سے کوئی شخص پیچھے رہ جاتا ہے ، وہ نسل کشی کے بکرے کی طرح آوازیں نکالتا ہے ۔ ۔ " انہوں ( یزید بن زریع ) نے " ہمارے اہل و عیال میں " کے الفاظ نہیں کہے

Dawud narrated the hadith with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are): Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) stood tip (to address the audience) in the evening and praised Allah, glorified Him and then said: What about the people, that as we set out on an expedition, one of you remained behind us and he shrieked like the bleating of a male goat? But he did not mention (these words): People connected with us.
