حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أُعْمِرَ عُمْرَى لَهُ وَلِعَقِبِهِ، فَإِنَّهَا لِلَّذِي أُعْطِيَهَا، لَا تَرْجِعُ إِلَى الَّذِي أَعْطَاهَا، لِأَنَّهُ أَعْطَى عَطَاءً وَقَعَتْ فِيهِ الْمَوَارِيثُ
امام مالک نے ابن شہاب سے ، انہوں نے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمان سے اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جس آدمی کو عمر بھر کے لیے دی جانے والی چیز اس کے اور اس کی اولاد کے لیے دی گئی تو وہ اسی کی ہے جسے دی گئی ، وہ اس شخص کو واپس نہیں ملے گی جس نے دی تھی ، کیونکہ اس نے ایسا عطیہ دیا ہے جس میں وراثت جاری ہو گئی ہے
Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as saying: Any man who is given a gift for life, it belongs to him and his heirs. It belongs to the one to whom it is given, and does not go back to the one who gave it, because he has given it in such a way that it is subject to the rules of inheritance.
