حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، يَقُولُ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا صَالِح، هَلْ سَمِعْتَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَذْكُرُ فَضْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فِي مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنْ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ قَارِظٍ؛ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ - أَوْ كَأَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ - فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ»،
عبد الوہاب نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی کہا ، میں نے یحییٰ بن سعید کو کہتے ہو ئے سنا کہ میں نے ابو صا لح سے پوچھا : کیا آپ نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مسجد میں نماز پڑھنے کی فضیلت بیان کرتے ہو ئے سنا ہے؟ انھوں نے کہا : نہیں البتہ مجھے عبد اللہ بن ابرا ہیم بن قارظ نے بتا یا کہ انھوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ حدیث بیان کر رہے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : میری اس مسجد میں ایک نماز اس کے سوا ( دوسری ) مسجدوں کی ایک ہزار نمازوں سے بہتر ۔ ۔ ۔ یا فر ما یا : ایک ہزار نمازوں کی طرح ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ الایہ کہ وہ مسجد حرا م ہو
Yahya b. Sa'id (Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said to Abu Salih: Did you hear Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) making a mention of the excellence of prayer in the mosque of Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )? He said: No (I did not hear directly from Abu Huraira), but I heard Abdullah b. Ibrahlm b. Qariz; say that' he had heard from Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had said: Prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers. or. is like one thousand prayers observed in other mosques besides It, except that it be in al-Masjid al-Haram.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say as he was delivering an address: So far as the trousers are concerned, one who does not find lower garment, he may wear them; as also socks, he may wear them who does not find shoes. It concerns the Muhrim.
