وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَهِيَ وَبِيئَةٌ، فَاشْتَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَاشْتَكَى بِلَالٌ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَكْوَى أَصْحَابِهِ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ كَمَا حَبَّبْتَ مَكَّةَ أَوْ أَشَدَّ، وَصَحِّحْهَا، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِهَا وَمُدِّهَا، وَحَوِّلْ حُمَّاهَا إِلَى الْجُحْفَةِ»

  عبدہ نے ہمیں ہشام سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے اپنے والدسے اورانھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ جب ہم مدینہ میں ( ہجرت کر کے ) آئے تو وہاں وبائی بخار پھیلا ہوا تھا ۔ اور سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ اور سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ بیمار ہو گئے پھر جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے اصحاب کی بیماری دیکھی تو دعا کی کہ اے اللہ! ہمارے مدینہ کو ہمارے لئے دوست کر دے جیسے تو نے مکہ کو دوست کیا تھا یا اس سے بھی زیادہ اور اس کو صحت کی جگہ بنا دے اور ہمیں اس کے ”صاع“ اور ”مد“ میں برکت دے اور اس کے بخار کو جحفہ کی طرف پھیر دے ۔

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: When we came to Medina, and it was an unhealthy, uncogenial place, Abu Bakr fell sick and Bilal also fell sick; and when Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) saw the illness of his Companions he said: O Allah, make Medina as congenial to us as you made Mecca congenial or more than that; make it conducive to health, and bleesus in its sa' and in its mudd, and transfer its fever to al-juhfa.

Hadith 2792

Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Hadith 2793

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.

Hadith 2794

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say as he was delivering an address: So far as the trousers are concerned, one who does not find lower garment, he may wear them; as also socks, he may wear them who does not find shoes. It concerns the Muhrim.

Amr b. Dinar narrated with the same chain of transmitters that he heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) delivering sermon at 'Arafat, and he made a mention of this hadith (as quoted above).

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Amr b. Dinar with the same chain of transmitters, but none of them (the narrators) made a mention that he (the Holy Prophet) was delivering address at 'Arafat except Shu'ba.
