حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا، أَحَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ، هِيَ حَرَامٌ لَا يُخْتَلَى خَلَاهَا، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
ہمیں عاصم احول نے خبر دی کہا ، میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا : کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مدینہ کو حرم قرار دیا ہے؟ انھوں نے کہا : ہاں ، یہ حرم ہے اس کی گھاس نہ کا ٹی جا ئے جس نے ایسا کیا اس پر اللہ کی ، فرشتوں کی ، اور سب لوگوں کی لعنت ہو گی ۔ "
Asim reported: I asked Anas (Allah be pleased with him) whether Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) had declared Medina as sacred. He said: Yes, it is sacred, so its tree is not to be cut; and he who did that let the curse of Allah and that of the angels and of all people be upon him.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.
