حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، أَخْبَرَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَلَمْ تَرَيْ أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حِينَ بَنَوْا الْكَعْبَةَ اقْتَصَرُوا عَنْ قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ» قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَفَلَا تَرُدُّهَا عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْلَا حِدْثَانُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَفَعَلْتُ»، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ: «لَئِنْ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ سَمِعَتْ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَا أُرَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَرَكَ اسْتِلَامَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ يَلِيَانِ الْحِجْرَ، إِلَّا أَنَّ الْبَيْتَ لَمْ يُتَمَّمْ عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ»
سالم بن عبد اللہ سے روایت ہے کہ عبد اللہ بن محمد بن ابی بکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کرتے ہو ئے عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : "" کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا تمھا ری قوم نے جب کعبہ تعمیر کیا تو اسے حضرت ابرا ہیم ؑ کی بنیا دوں سے کم کر دیا ۔ کہا میں نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !کیا آپ اسے دوبارہ ابرا ہیمؑ کی بنیا دوں پر نہیں لو ٹا ئیں گے ؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : "" اگر تمھا ری قوم کا زمانہ کفر قریب کا نہ ہو تا تو میں ( ضرورایسا ) کرتا ۔ حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا اگر یہ بات حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی تھی تو میں نہیں سمجھتا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حطیم کے قریبی دونوں ارکان کا استلام اس کے علاوہ کسی اور وجہ سے ترک کیا ( ہواصل وجہ یہ تھی ) کہ بیت اللہ ابرا ہیم ؑ کی بنیا دوں پر پورا 0تعمیر ) نہیں کیا گیا تھا ۔
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) as having said this: Didn't you see that when your people built the Ka'ba, they reduced (its area with the result that it no longer remains) on the foundations (laid) by Ibrahim. I said: Messenger of Allah, why don't you rebuild it on the foundations (laid by) Ibrahim? Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Had your people not been new converts to Islam, I would have done that. 'Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said: If 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) had heard it from Allah's Messenger (may peace be up (vn him), I would not have seen Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) abandoning the touching of the two corners situated near al-Hijr, but (for the fact) that it was not completed on the foundations (laid) by Ibrihim.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.
