وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، جَمِيعًا عَنِ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَتْ سَوْدَةُ امْرَأَةً ضَخْمَةً ثَبِطَةً، فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُفِيضَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا» فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: «فَلَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ سَوْدَةُ» وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ «لَا تُفِيضُ إِلَّا مَعَ الْإِمَامِ»

  ایوب نے عبدالرحمان بن قاسم سے حدیث بیا ن کی ، انھوں نے قاسم سے اور انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : حضرت سودہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بڑی ( اور ) بھاری جسم والی خاتون تھیں ، انھوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اجازت چاہی کہ وہ رات ہی کو مزدلفہ سے روانہ ہوجایئں ، تو آپ نے انھیں اجازت دے دی ۔ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے کہا : کاش جیسے سودہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے اجازت لی ، میں نے بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اجازت لے لی ہوتی ۔ ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی رحلت کے بعد ) حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا ( صبح کو باقی لوگوں کی طرح ) امیر ( حج ) کے ساتھ ہی واپس لوٹا کرتی تھیں ۔

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that (hadrat) Sauda was a bulky lady, so she sought permission from Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) to proceed from Muzdalifa (to Mina) in the (latter part of the) night. He granted her permission. 'A'isha said: I wish I had also sought permission from Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as Sauda had. sought permission from him. 'A'isha did not proceed but with the Imam.

Hadith 2792

Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Hadith 2793

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.

Hadith 2794

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) say as he was delivering an address: So far as the trousers are concerned, one who does not find lower garment, he may wear them; as also socks, he may wear them who does not find shoes. It concerns the Muhrim.

Amr b. Dinar narrated with the same chain of transmitters that he heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) delivering sermon at 'Arafat, and he made a mention of this hadith (as quoted above).
