وحَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ قَدْ تَفَشَّغَ بِالنَّاسِ، «مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ الطَّوَافُ عُمْرَةٌ» فَقَالَ: «سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِنْ رَغَمْتُمْ»
ہمام بن یحییٰ نے قتادہ سے ، انھوں ے ابو حسان سے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے کہا گیا کہ اس معاملے ( فتوے ) نے لوگوں کو تفرقے میں ڈال دیا ہے کہ جو بیت اللہ کا طوف ( عمرہ ) کر کے وہ احرا م سے باہر آجا تا ہے اور یہ کہ طواف مستقل عمرہ ہے فر ما یا : ( ہاں ) یہی تمھا رے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت ہے چا ہے تمھیں نہ چا ہتے ہو ئے قبول کرنی پڑے ۔
Abu Hassan reported: It was said to Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) that this affair had engaged the attention of the people that he who circumambu- lates the House was permitted to circumambulate for Umra (even though he was in a state of Ihram for Hajj), whereupon he said: That is the Sunnah of your Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), even though you may not approve of it.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.
