وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: أَهْدَى الصَّعْبُ بْنُ جَثَّامَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ، وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: «لَوْلَا أَنَّا مُحْرِمُونَ، لَقَبِلْنَاهُ مِنْكَ»
اعمش نے حبیب بن ابی ثابت سے انھوں نے سعید بن جبیر سے انھوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہا صعب بن جثامہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ہدیتاً زبیراپیش کیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم احرا م میں تھے سو آپ نے اسے لو ٹا دیا اور فر ما یا : اگر ہم احرا م کی حالت میں نہ ہو تے تو ہم اسے تمھا ری طرف سے ( ضرور ) قبول کرتے ۔
Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that al-Sa'b b. Jaththama presented to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) a wild ass as he was in a state of Ihram, and he returned it to him saying: If we were not in a state of Ihram, we would have accepted it from you.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.
