حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: بَيْدَاؤُكُمْ هَذِهِ الَّتِي تَكْذِبُونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا «مَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ الْمَسْجِدِ» يَعْنِي ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ
یحییٰ بن یحییٰ نے حدیث بیان کی کہا میں نے مالک کے سامنے قراءت کی انھوں نے موسیٰ بن عقبہ سے اور انھوں نے سالم بن عبد اللہ سے روایت کی کہ انھوں نے اپنے والد ( عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) سے سنا انھوں نے فر ما یا : یہ تمھا را چٹیل میدا ن بيداءوہ مقام ہے جس کے حوالے سے تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بارے میں غلط بیا نی کرتے ہو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کسی اور جگہ سے نہیں مگر مسجد کے قریب ( یعنی ذوالحلیفہ ) ہی سے احرا م باندھا تھا ۔
Salim b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that he heard his father saying: This place Baida' is for you that about which you attribute lie to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ). And the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) did not enter upon the state of Ihram but near the mosque at Dhu'l- Hulaifa.

Hadith 2792
Salim reported on the authority of his father ('Abdullah b. 'Umar) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was asked what a Muhrim should wear, whereupon he said: A Muhrim should not wear a shirt, or a turban, or a cap, or trousers, or a cloth touched with wars or with saffron, nor (should he wear) stockings, but in case he does not find shoes, but (before wearing stockings) be should trim them (in such a way) that these should become lower than the ankles.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) forbade the Muhrim to put on a cloth dyed in saffron or wars and he further said: One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.
