حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا أَيَصُومُ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ، ثُمَّ يَصُومُ»
احمد بن عثمان نوفلی ، ابو عاصم ، ابن جریج ، محمد بن یوسف ، حضرت سلیمان بن یسار رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ایک آدمی کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ وہ جنبی حالت میں صبح کرتاہے تو کیا وہ آدمی روزہ رکھ سکتا ہے؟حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جنبی حالت میں بغیر احتلام کے صبح کرتے پھر آپ روزہ رکھتے ۔
Sulaiman b. Yasar reported that he asked Umm Salama whether a person (who gets up) in the morning in a state of junub should observe fast. She said: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) (at times) got up in the morning in a state of junub, not because of sexual dreams (but on account of intercourse at night), and then observed fast.

He then said: Fast when you see it, and break your fast when you see it, and if the weather is cloudy calculate it (the months of Sha'ban and Shawwal) as thirty days.
