و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنُ هَمَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَنْقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِي فَأَجِدُ التَّمْرَةَ سَاقِطَةً عَلَى فِرَاشِي أَوْ فِي بَيْتِي فَأَرْفَعُهَا لِآكُلَهَا ثُمَّ أَخْشَى أَنْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَةً أَوْ مِنْ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأُلْقِيهَا
ہمام بن منبہ نے کہا : یہ ( احادیث ) ہیں جو حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں محمدرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کیں انھوں نے کچھ احادیث بیان کیں ان میں سے ( ایک حدیث یہ ) ہے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " اللہ کی قسم! میں اپنے گھروالوں کے پاس لو ٹتا ہوں اور اپنے بستر پر ۔ ۔ ۔ یا اپنے گھر میں ۔ ۔ ایک کھجور گری ہوئی پا تا ہوں میں اسے کھا نے کے لیے اٹھا تا ہوں پھر میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ کہیں یہ صدقہ ( نہ ) ہو ( یا صدقے میں سے نہ ہو ) تو میں اسے پھینک دیتا ہوں ۔ "
Out of so many ahadith which Hammam b. Munabbih narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) one is this that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: I go back to my family and I find a date lying on my bed or in my house, and I take it up to eat it, but then I throw it away fearing that it may be a Sadaqa or from Sadaqa.
