و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ عَبَّادَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ لِي شَيْءٌ إِلَّا مَا أَدْخَلَ عَلَيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ أَنْ أَرْضَخَ مِمَّا يُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ ارْضَخِي مَا اسْتَطَعْتِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ
عباد بن عبد اللہ بن زبیر نے خبر دی کہ انھوں نے حضرت اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حا ضر ہو ئیں اور عرض کی ، اے اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !جو کچھ زبیر مجھے دے اس کے سوا میرے پا س کو ئی چیز نہیں ہو تی تو کیا مجھ پر کو ئی گنا ہ تو نہیں کہ جو وہ مجھے دے اس میں سے تھوڑا سا صدقہ کر دوں ؟آپ نے فر ما یا : اپنی طا قت کے مطا بق تھوڑا بھی خرچ کرو اور برتن میں سنبھا ل کر نہ رکھو ورنہ اللہ تعا لیٰ بھی تم سے سنبھا ل کر رکھے گا ۔
Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr, reported that abe came to the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) and said: Apostle of Allah, I have nothing with me, but only, that which is given to me by Zubair (for household expenses). Is there any sin for me if I spend out of that which is given to me (by Zabair)? Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: Spend according to your means; and do not hoard, for Allah will withhold from you.
