و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَسْقَى فَأَشَارَ بِظَهْرِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ
حمادبن سلمہ نے ثابت سے اور انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ر وایت کی کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بارش مانگنے کے لیے دعا فرمائی تو اپنے ہاتھوں کی پشت کے ساتھ آسمان کی طرف اشارہ کیا ۔
Anas b. Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) prayed for rain pointing the back of his hands to the sky.

Ibn Tamim narrated on the authority of his uncle ('Abdullah b. Zaid) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) went out to the place of prayer and prayed for rain and faced towards Qibla, and turned round his mantle and prayed two rak'ahs.
