  ) یونس نے ابن شہاب کے حوالے سے خبردی ، انھوں نے سعید بن مسیب سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب جنگ خیبر سے واپس ہوئے تو رات بھر چلتے رہے یہاں تک کہ جب آپ کو نیند نے آلیا ، آپ نے ( سواری سے ) اتر کر پڑاؤ کیا اور بلال ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے کہا : ’’ہمارے لیے رات کا پہرہ دو ( نظر رکھو کہ کب صبح ہوتی ہے ؟ ) ‘ ‘ بلال ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے مقدور بھر نماز پڑھی ، رسول اللہ ﷺ اور آپ کے صحابہ سو گئے ۔ جب فجر قریب ہوئی تو بلال ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے ( مطلع ) فجر کی طرف رخ کرتے ہوئے اپنی سواری کے ساتھ ٹیک لگائی ، جب وہ ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے تو ان پر نیند غالب آگئی ، چنانچہ رسول اللہ ﷺ بیدار ہوئے نہ بلال اور نہی ہی ان کے صحابہ میں سے کوئی بیدار ہوا یہاں تک کہ ان پر دھوپ پڑنے لگی ، سب سے پہلے رسول اللہ ﷺ بیدار ہوئے اور گھبرا گئے ۔ فرمانے لگے : ’’اے بلال! ‘ ‘ تو بلال ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے کہا : میری جان کو بھی اسی نے قبضے میں لیا تھا جس نے ۔ میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان اے اللہ کے رسول ! ---آپ کی جان کو قبضے میں لے لیا تھا ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’سواریاں آگے بڑھاؤ ۔ ‘ ‘ وہ اپنی سواریوں کو لے کر کچھ آگے بڑھے ، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے وضو کیا اور بلال ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ کو حکم دیا ، انھوں نے نماز کی اقامت کہی ، پھر آپ نے ان کو صبح کی نماز پڑھائی ، جب نماز ختم کی تو فرمایا : ’’ جو شخص نماز ( پڑھنا ) بھول جائے تو جب اسے یاد آئے اسے پڑھے ، اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا : ’’ میری یاد کے وقت نماز قائم کرو ۔ ‘ ‘ یونس نے کہا : ابن شہاب سے ’’للذکرٰی ‘ ‘ ( یاد کرنے کےلیے ) پڑھتے تھے

Abu Huraira reported that when the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) returned from the expedition to Khaibar, he travelled one night, and stopped for rest when he became sleepy. He told Bilal to remain on guard during the night and he (Bilal) prayed as much as he could, while the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and his Companions slept. When the time for dawn approached Bilal leaned against his camel facing the direction from which the dawn would appear but he was overcome by sleep while he was leaning against his camel, and neither the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) nor Bilal, nor anyone else among his Companions got up, till the sun shone on them. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) was the first of them to awake and, being startled, he called to Bilal who said: Messenger of Allah I may my father and mother be offered as ransom for thee, the same thing overpowered me which overpowered you. He (the Holy Prophet, then) said: Lead the beasts on: so they led their camels to some distance. The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) then performed ablution and gave orders to Bilal who pronounced the Iqama and then led them in the morning prayer. When he finished the prayer he said: When anyone forgets the prayer, he should observe it when he remembers it, for Allah has said: And observe the prayer for remembrance of Me (Qur'an. xx. 14). Yunus said: Ibn Shilab used to recite it like this: (And observe the prayer) for remembrance.
