أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا وَهُوَ بِالْكُوفَةِ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا؟ يَا مُغِيرَةُ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «بِهَذَا أُمِرْتُ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لِعُرْوَةَ: انْظُرْ مَا تُحَدِّثُ يَا عُرْوَةُ، أَوَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ هُوَ أَقَامَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقْتَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ: كَذَلِكَ كَانَ بَشِيرُ بْنُ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
امام مالک نے ابن شہاب زہری سے روایت کی کہ ایک دن عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے نماز میں تاخیر کر دی تو عروہ بن زبیر ان کے پاس آئے اور انھیں بتایا کہ مغیر ہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک دن نماز دیر سے پڑھی اس وقت وہ کوفہ میں تھے ابو مسعود انصاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ان کے پاس آئے اور کہا : مغیرہ !یہ کیا ہے ؟ کیا آپ کو پتہ نہیں کہ جبریل علیہ السلام اترے تھے ، انھوں نے نماز پڑھائی تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ( ان کے ساتھ ) نماز پڑھی ، پھر انھوں نے نماز پڑھی تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے نماز پڑھی ، پھر انوں نے نماز پڑھی اور رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ( ان کے ساتھ ) نماز پڑھی ، پھر انھوں نے نماز پڑھی تو رسو ل اللہ ﷺ نے ( ان کے ساتھ ) نماز پڑھی ، پھر ( جبرئیل نے ) کہا : مجھے اس کا حکم دیا گیا ہے ۔ تو عمر نے عروہ سے کہا : عروہ ! دیکھ لو ، کیا کہہ رہے ہو ؟ کیا جبرئیل نے خود ( آکر ) رسول ) اللہ ﷺ کے لیے ( ہر ) نماز کا وقت متعین کیا تھا ؟ تو عروہ نے کہا بشر بن ابی مسعود اپنے والد سے ایسے ہی بیان کرتے تھے ۔
Ibn Shihab reported: Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz one day deferred the prayer. 'Urwa b. Zubair came to him and informed him that one day as Mughira b. Shu'ba was in Kufa (as its governor), he deferred the prayer, Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari came to him and said: What is this, O Mughira? Did you know that it was Gabriel who came and said prayer and (then) the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said the prayer (along with him), then (Gabriel) prayed and the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) also prayed, then (Gabriel) prayed and the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) also prayed, then (Gabriel) prayed and the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) prayed (along with him). then Gabriel prayed and the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) also prayed (along with him) and then said: This is how I have been ordered to do. 'Umar (b. 'Abd al-'Aziz) said. O 'Urwa be mindful of what you are saying that Gabriel (peace be upon him) taught the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) the times of prayer. Upon this 'Urwa said: This is how Bashir b. Abu Mas'ud narrated on the authority of his father

Hadith 1162
Ibrahim b. Yazid al-Tayml reported: I used to read the Qur'an with my father in the vestibule (before the door of the mosque). When I recited the ayat (verses) concerning prostration, he prostrated himself. I said to him: Father, do you prostrate yourself in the path? He said: I heard Abu Dharr saying: I asked the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) about the mosque that was first set up on the earth. He said: Masjid Harim. I said: Then which next? He said: The Masjid al-Aqsa. I said: How long is the space of time between the two? He said: Forty years. He (then) further said: The earth is a mosque for you, so wherever you are at the time of prayer, pray there.

Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported: The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: I have been conferred upon five (things) which were not granted to anyone before me (and these are): Every apostle wassent particularly to his own people, whereas I have been sent to all the red and the black the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, and these were never made lawful to anyone before me, and the earth has been made sacred and pure and mosque for me, so whenever the time of prayer comes for any one of you he should pray whenever he is, and I have been supported by awe (by which the enemy is overwhelmed) from the distance (which one takes) one month to cover and I have been granted intercession.
