حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي خَمِيصَةٍ لَهَا أَعْلَامٌ ، فَقَالَ : شَغَلَتْنِي أَعْلَامُ هَذِهِ ، اذْهَبُوا بِهَا إِلَى أَبِي جَهْمٍ وَأْتُونِي بِأَنْبِجَانِيَّةٍ .
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے زہری سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عروہ سے، انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دھاری دار چادر میں نماز پڑھی۔ پھر فرمایا کہ اس کے نقش و نگار نے مجھے غافل کر دیا۔ اسے لے جا کر ابوجہم کو واپس کر دو اور ان سے ( بجائے اس کے ) سادی چادر مانگ لاؤ۔
Narrated `Aisha: Once the Prophet prayed on a Khamisa with marks on it and said, The marks on it diverted my attention, take this Khamisa to Abu Jahm and bring an Inbijaniya (from him.)

Narrated Salim bin `Abdullah: My father said, Allah's Apostle used to raise both his hands up to the level of his shoulders when opening the prayer; and on saying the Takbir for bowing. And on raising his head from bowing he used to do the same and then say Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa laka l-hamd. And he did not do that (i.e. raising his hands) in prostrations.
