حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، قَال : حَدَّثَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ وَحَجَّةٌ ، وَقَالَ هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ .
ہم سے سعید بن ربیع نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے علی بن مبارک نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ بن کثیر نے، ان سے عکرمہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اور ان سے عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ مجھ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میرے پاس رات ایک میرے رب کی طرف سے آنے والا آیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس وقت وادی عقیق میں تھے اور کہا کہ اس مبارک وادی میں نماز پڑھئیے اور کہئیے کہ عمرہ اور حج ( کی نیت کرتا ہوں ) اور ہارون بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا کہ ہم سے علی نے بیان کیا ( ان الفاظ کے ساتھ ) «عمرة في حجة.» ۔
Narrated `Umar: The Prophet said to me, Someone came to me tonight from my Lord while I was in the 'Aqiq (valley), and said to me, Offer prayer in this blessed valley and say: 'Labbaik' for the (performance of) `Umra and Hajj.

Narrated Tariq bin Shihab: A Jew said to `Umar, O Chief of the Believers, if this verse: 'This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favors upon you, and have chosen for you, Islam as your religion.'
