حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ أَبِي ؟ ، قَالَ : أَبُوكَ فُلَانٌ ، وَنَزَلَتْ : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ سورة المائدة آية 101 .

ہم سے محمد بن عبدالرحیم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو روح بن عبادہ نے خبر دی، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ کو موسیٰ بن انس نے خبر دی کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   ایک صاحب نے کہا: یا نبی اللہ! میرے والد کون ہیں؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تمہارے والد فلاں ہیں۔ اور یہ آیت نازل ہوئی «يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تسألوا عن أشياء‏» ”اے لوگو! ایسی چیزیں نہ پوچھو۔“ الآیہ۔

Narrated Anas bin Malik: A man said, O Allah's Prophet! Who is my father? The Prophet said, Your father is so-and-so. And then the Divine Verse:-- 'O you who believe! Ask not questions about things..(5.101)

Hadith 7268

Narrated Tariq bin Shihab: A Jew said to `Umar, O Chief of the Believers, if this verse: 'This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favors upon you, and have chosen for you, Islam as your religion.' (5.3) had been revealed upon us, we would have taken that day as an `Id (festival) day. `Umar said, I know definitely on what day this Verse was revealed; it was revealed on the day of `Arafat, on a Friday.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: That he heard `Umar speaking while standing on the pulpit of the Prophet in the morning (following the death of the Prophet), when the people had sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr. He said the Tashah-hud before Abu Bakr, and said, Amma Ba'du (then after) Allah has chosen for his Apostle what is with Him (Paradise) rather than what is with you (the world). This is that Book (Qur'an) with which Allah guided your Apostle, so stick to it, for then you will be guided on the right path as Allah guided His Apostle with it.
