حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ .
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید بن قطان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے اسماعیل سے، انہوں نے کہا مجھ سے قیس بن ابی حازم نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے جریر بن عبداللہ بجلی رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے میں نے نماز قائم کرنے اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرنے اور ہر مسلمان کی خیر خواہی کرنے پر بیعت کی۔
Narrated Jarir bin Abdullah: I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle for the following: 1. offer prayers perfectly 2. pay the Zakat (obligatory charity) 3. and be sincere and true to every Muslim.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles): 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 2.
