حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْآيَتَانِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ مَنْ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ .
ہم سے عمر بن حفص نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ہمارے والد نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، ان سے علقمہ اور عبدالرحمٰن بن یزید نے اور ان سے ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ سورۃ البقرہ کے آخر کی دو آیتوں کو جو شخص رات میں پڑھ لے گا وہ اس کے لیے کافی ہوں گی۔
Narrated Abu Mas`ud Al-Ansari: The Prophet said, If one recites the last two Verses of Surat-al-Baqara at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night).

Narrated Abu `Uthman: I was informed that Gabriel came to the Prophet while Um Salama was with him. Gabriel started talking (to the Prophet). Then the Prophet asked Um Salama, Who is this?
