حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بُسْرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَتْ بَيْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ مُحَاوَرَةٌ ، فَأَغْضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عُمَرَ ، فَانْصَرَفَ عَنْهُ عُمَرُ مُغْضَبًا ، فَاتَّبَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَ لَهُ ، فَلَمْ يَفْعَلْ ، حَتَّى أَغْلَقَ بَابَهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ ، فَأَقْبَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ : وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَمَّا صَاحِبُكُمْ هَذَا فَقَدْ غَامَرَ ، قَالَ : وَنَدِمَ عُمَرُ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنْهُ ، فَأَقْبَلَ حَتَّى سَلَّمَ وَجَلَسَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَصَّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَبَرَ ، قَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ : وَغَضِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَجَعَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، يَقُولُ : وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، لَأَنَا كُنْتُ أَظْلَمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : هَلْ أَنْتُمْ تَارِكُونَ لِي صَاحِبِي ؟ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ تَارِكُونَ لِي صَاحِبِي ؟ إِنِّي قُلْتُ : يَأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعًا سورة الأعراف آية 158 ، فَقُلْتُمْ : كَذَبْتَ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : صَدَقْتَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ غَامَرَ : سَبَقَ بِالْخَيْرِ .
ہم سے عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سلیمان بن عبدالرحمٰن اور موسیٰ بن ہارون نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ولید بن مسلم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن علاء بن زبیر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے بسر بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے ابوادریس خولانی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ابوبکر اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے درمیان کچھ بحث سی ہو گئی تھی۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ پر غصہ ہو گئے اور ان کے پاس سے آنے لگے۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی ان کے پیچھے پیچھے ہو گئے، معافی مانگتے ہوئے۔ لیکن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں معاف نہیں کیا اور ( گھر پہنچ کر ) اندر سے دروازہ بند کر لیا۔ اب ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے۔ ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم لوگ اس وقت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تمہارے یہ صاحب ( یعنی ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ ) لڑ آئے ہیں۔ راوی نے بیان کیا کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی اپنے طرز عمل پر نادم ہوئے اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف چلے اور سلام کر کے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے قریب بیٹھ گئے۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سارا واقعہ بیان کیا۔ ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ آپ بہت ناراض ہوئے۔ ادھر ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ باربار یہ عرض کرتے کہ یا رسول اللہ! واقعی میری ہی زیادتی تھی۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کیا تم لوگ مجھے میرے ساتھی سے جدا کرنا چاہتے ہو؟ کیا تم لوگ میرے ساتھی کو مجھ سے جدا کرنا چاہتے ہو؟ جب میں نے کہا تھا کہ اے انسانو! بیشک میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں، تم سب کی طرف، تو تم لوگوں نے کہا کہ تم جھوٹ بولتے ہو، اس وقت ابوبکر نے کہا تھا کہ آپ سچے ہیں۔ ابوعبداللہ نے کہا «غامر» کے معنی حدیث میں یہ ہے کہ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھلائی میں سبقت کی ہے۔
Narrated Abu Ad-Darda: There was a dispute between Abu Bakr and `Umar, and Abu Bakr made `Umar angry. So `Umar left angrily. Abu Bakr followed him, requesting him to ask forgiveness (of Allah) for him, but `Umar refused to do so and closed his door in Abu Bakr's face. So Abu Bakr went to Allah's Messenger while we were with him. Allah's Messenger said, This friend of yours must have quarrelled (with somebody). In the meantime `Umar repented and felt sorry for what he had done, so he came, greeted (those who were present) and sat with the Prophet and related the story to him. Allah's Messenger became angry and Abu Bakr started saying, O Allah's Messenger ! By Allah, I was more at fault (than `Umar). Allah's Apostle said, Are you (people) leaving for me my companion? (Abu Bakr), Are you (people) leaving for me my companion? When I said, 'O people I am sent to you all as the Apostle of Allah,' you said, 'You tell a lie.' while Abu Bakr said, 'You have spoken the truth .

Hadith 4474
Narrated Abu Sa`id bin Al-Mu'alla: While I was praying in the Mosque, Allah's Messenger called me but I did not respond to him. Later I said, O Allah's Messenger ! I was praying. He said, Didn't Allah say'-- Give your response to Allah (by obeying Him) and to His Apostle when he calls you. (8.24) He then said to me, I will teach you a Sura which is the greatest Sura in the Qur'an, before you leave the Mosque. Then he got hold of my hand, and when he intended to leave (the Mosque), I said to him, Didn't you say to me, 'I will teach you a Sura which is the greatest Sura in the Qur'an?' He said, Al-Hamdu-Li l-lah Rabbi-l-`alamin (i.e. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds) which is Al-Sab'a Al-Mathani (i.e. seven repeatedly recited Verses) and the Grand Qur'an which has been given to me.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi `alaihim Walad-Dallin (i.e. not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1.7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, On the Day of Resurrection the Believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Adam will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).' Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will say, 'Go to Noah, for he was the first Apostle, Allah sent to the inhabitants of the earth.' They will go to him and Noah will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his appeal to his Lord to do what he had no knowledge of, then he will feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to the Khalil--r-Rahman (i.e. Abraham).' They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah .' So they will go to him and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' and he will mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to Jesus, Allah's Slave, His Apostle and Allah's Word and a Spirit coming from Him. Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking, go to Muhammad the Slave of Allah whose past and future sins were forgiven by Allah.' So they will come to me and I will proceed till I will ask my Lord's Permission and I will be given permission. When I see my Lord, I will fall down in Prostration and He will let me remain in that state as long as He wishes and then I will be addressed.' (Muhammad!) Raise your head. Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying (i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He will fix a limit for me (to intercede for) whom I will admit into Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede and Allah will fix a limit for me to intercede whom I will let into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains in Hell but those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned (in Hell) and who have been destined to an eternal stay in Hell.' (The compiler) Abu `Abdullah said: 'But those whom the Qur'an has imprisoned in Hell,' refers to the Statement of Allah: They will dwell therein forever. (16.29)

Narrated `Abdullah: I asked the Prophet, What is the greatest sin in the Sight of Allah? He said, That you set up a rival unto Allah though He Alone created you. I said, That is indeed a great sin. Then asked, What is next? He said, To kill your son lest he should share your food with you. I asked, What is next? He said, To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor.
