حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِنَاءٍ وَهُوَ بِالزَّوْرَاءِ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ الْقَوْمُ ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ : قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ : كَمْ كُنْتُمْ ؟ ، قَالَ : ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ أَوْ زُهَاءَ ثَلَاثِ مِائَةٍ .
مجھ سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن ابی عدی نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید بن ابی عروبہ نے، ان سے قتادہ نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ایک برتن حاضر کیا گیا ( پانی کا ) نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس وقت ( مدینہ کے نزدیک ) مقام زوراء میں تشریف رکھتے تھے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس برتن میں ہاتھ رکھا تو اس میں سے پانی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی انگلیوں کے درمیان سے پھوٹنے لگا اور اسی پانی سے پوری جماعت نے وضو کیا۔ قتادہ نے کہا کہ میں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ لوگ کتنی تعداد میں تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تین سو رہے ہوں گے یا تین سو کے قریب رہے ہوں گے۔
Narrated Anas: A bowl of water was brought to the Prophet while he was at Az-Zawra. He placed his hand in it and the water started flowing among his fingers. All the people performed ablution (with that water). Qatada asked Anas, How many people were you? Anas replied, Three hundred or nearly three hundred.
