وَقَالَ : اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : أَلَا يُعْجِبُكَ أَبُو فُلَانٍ جَاءَ فَجَلَسَ إِلَى جَانِبِ حُجْرَتِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسْمِعُنِي ذَلِكَ وَكُنْتُ أُسَبِّحُ فَقَامَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَقْضِيَ سُبْحَتِي وَلَوْ أَدْرَكْتُهُ لَرَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَسْرُدُ الْحَدِيثَ كَسَرْدِكُمْ .

اور لیث نے بیان کیا کہ مجھ سے یونس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے عروہ بن زبیر نے خبر دی اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   ( ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) پر تمہیں تعجب نہیں ہوا۔ وہ آئے اور میرے حجرہ کے ایک کونے میں بیٹھ کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی احادیث مجھے سنانے کے لیے بیان کرنے لگے۔ میں اس وقت نماز پڑھ رہی تھی۔ پھر وہ میری نماز ختم ہونے سے پہلے ہی اٹھ کر چلے گئے۔ اگر وہ مجھے مل جاتے تو میں ان کی خبر لیتی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تمہاری طرح یوں جلدی جلدی باتیں نہیں کیا کرتے تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی آنکھیں ظاہر میں سوتی تھیں لیکن دل غافل نہیں ہوتا تھا۔

Narrated `Urwa bin Az-Zubair: `Aisha said (to me), Don't you wonder at Abu so-and-so who came and sat by my dwelling and started relating the traditions of Allah's Apostle intending to let me hear that, while I was performing an optional prayer. He left before I finished my optional prayer. Had I found him still there. I would have said to him, 'Allah's Apostle never talked so quickly and vaguely as you do.'

Narrated Kulaib: I was told by the Rabiba (i.e. daughter of the wife of the Prophet) who, I think, was Zainab, that the Prophet (forbade the utensils (of wine called) Ad-Dubba, Al-Hantam, Al-Muqaiyar and Al-Muzaffat. I said to her, 'Tell me as to which tribe the Prophet belonged; was he from the tribe of Mudar?'' She replied, He belonged to the tribe of Mudar and was from the offspring of An-Nadr bin Kinana.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, You see that the people are of different natures. Those who were the best in the pre-lslamic period, are also the best in Islam if they comprehend religious knowledge. You see that the best amongst the people in this respect (i.e. ambition of ruling) are those who hate it most.
