حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَرْجِعُ أَصْحَابُكَ بِأَجْرِ حَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَى الْحَجِّ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : اذْهَبِي وَلْيُرْدِفْكِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَأَمَرَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنْ يُعْمِرَهَا مِنَ التَّنْعِيمِ ، فَانْتَظَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَعْلَى مَكَّةَ حَتَّى جَاءَتْ .
ہم سے عمرو بن علی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعاصم نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عثمان بن اسود نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن ابی ملیکہ نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ انہوں نے عرض کیا، یا رسول اللہ! آپ کے اصحاب حج اور عمرہ دونوں کر کے واپس جا رہے ہیں اور میں صرف حج کر پائی ہوں۔ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر جاؤ ( عمرہ کر آؤ ) عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ عنہ ( عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے بھائی ) تمہیں اپنی سواری کے پیچھے بٹھا لیں گے۔ چنانچہ آپ نے عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا کہ تنعیم سے ( احرام باندھ کر ) عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو عمرہ کرا لائیں۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس عرصہ میں مکہ کے بالائی علاقہ پر ان کا انتظار کیا۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ آ گئیں۔
Narrated Aisha: That she said, O Allah's Apostle! Your companions are returning with the reward of both Hajj and `Umra, while I am returning with (the reward of) Hajj only. He said to her, Go, and let `Abdur- Rahman (i.e. your brother) make you sit behind him (on the animal). So, he ordered `AbdurRahman to let her perform `Umra from Al-Tan`im. Then the Prophet waited for her at the higher region of Mecca till she returned.

Hadith 2782
Narrated `Abdullah bin Masud: I asked Allah's Apostle, O Allah's Apostle! What is the best deed? He replied, To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times. I asked, What is next in goodness? He replied, To be good and dutiful to your parents. I further asked, what is next in goodness? He replied, To participate in Jihad in Allah's Cause. I did not ask Allah's Apostle anymore and if I had asked him more, he would have told me more.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle said, There is no Hijra (i.e. migration) (from Mecca to Medina) after the Conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately.

Narrated `Aisha: (That she said), O Allah's Apostle! We consider Jihad as the best deed. Should we not fight in Allah's Cause? He said, The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj-Mabrur (i.e. Hajj which is done according to the Prophet's tradition and is accepted by Allah).

Narrated Abu Huraira: A man came to Allah's Apostle and said, Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward). He replied, I do not find such a deed. Then he added, Can you, while the Muslim fighter is in the battle-field, enter your mosque to perform prayers without cease and fast and never break your fast? The man said, But who can do that? Abu- Huraira added, The Mujahid (i.e. Muslim fighter) is rewarded even for the footsteps of his horse while it wanders bout (for grazing) tied in a long rope.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Somebody asked, O Allah's Apostle! Who is the best among the people? Allah's Apostle replied A believer who strives his utmost in Allah's Cause with his life and property. They asked, Who is next? He replied, A believer who stays in one of the mountain paths worshipping Allah and leaving the people secure from his mischief.
