حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْنَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فِي عُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، أَيَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ ؟ , فَقَالَ : قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ سَبْعًا ، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعًا ، وَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ .
ہم سے حمیدی نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے کہا کہ ہم نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں دریافت کیا جو عمرہ کے لیے بیت اللہ کا طواف تو کرتا ہے لیکن صفا اور مروہ کی سعی نہیں کرتا، کیا وہ ( صرف بیت اللہ کے طواف کے بعد ) اپنی بیوی سے ہمبستر ہو سکتا ہے؟ انہوں نے اس کا جواب یہ دیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( مکہ ) تشریف لائے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیت اللہ کا سات چکروں کے ساتھ طواف کیا، پھر مقام ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے قریب دو رکعت نماز پڑھی، اس کے بعد صفا اور مروہ کی سات مرتبہ سعی کی ”اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زندگی تمہارے لیے بہترین نمونہ ہے۔“
Narrated `Amr bin Dinar: We asked Ibn `Umar whether a man who had performed the Tawaf of the Ka`ba but had not performed the Tawaf between As-Safa and Al-Marwa yet, was permitted to have sexual relation with his wife. He replied, The Prophet arrived (at Mecca) and circumambulated the Ka`ba seven times and then offered a two rak`at prayer behind Maqam-lbrahim and then performed the going (Tawaf) between As-Safa and Al-Marwa (seven times) (and verily, in Allah's Apostle you have a good example.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, (The performance of) `Umra is an expiation for the sins committed (between it and the previous one). And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise.

Narrated Mujahid: Urwa bin Az-Zubair and I entered the Mosque (of the Prophet) and saw `Abdullah bin `Umar sitting near the dwelling place of Aisha and some people were offering the Duha prayer. We asked him about their prayer and he replied that it was a heresy. He (Urwa) then asked him how many times the Prophet had performed `Umra. He replied, 'Four times; one of them was in the month of Rajab. We disliked to contradict him.

Then we heard `Aisha, the Mother of faithful believers cleaning her teeth with Siwak in the dwelling place. 'Urwa said, O Mother! O Mother of the believers! Don't you hear what Abu `Abdur Rahman is saying? She said, What does he say? 'Urwa said, He says that Allah's Apostle performed four `Umra and one of them was in the month of Rajab. `Aisha said, May Allah be merciful to Abu `Abdur Rahman! The Prophet did not perform any `Umra except that he was with him, and he never performed any `Umra in Rajab.
