حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَبِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ بَاتَ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، فَلَمَّا رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ أَهَلَّ .
ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ہشام بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے ابن جریج نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے محمد بن المنکدر نے بیان کیا اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مدینہ میں چار رکعتیں پڑھیں لیکن ذوالحلیفہ میں دو رکعت ادا فرمائیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے رات وہیں گزاری۔ صبح کے وقت جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی سواری پر سوار ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لبیک پکاری۔
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet offered four rak`at in Medina and then two rak`at at Dhul Hulaifa and then passed the night at Dhul-Hulaifa till it was morning and when he mounted his Mount and it stood up, he started to recite Talbiya.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet replied, Yes, you may. That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet ).
